I do agree with someone who posted that they have a smell when you get them. I think it might be the piece of plastic that makes the bottom of the bag stronger. I opened the bags and hung them on some chair posts to let them air out for a few days, and they are fine. The odor was not offensive, but it was there. Overall, I love these bags.
