I was very impressed with how fast the light charges by micro USB, well under an hour and how long the charge lasted, over 10 hours and that was on the brightest setting. The light itself was not as bright as I had hoped for, even on the brightest setting I would not consider it much more than a book or study light. You are also a slave to the angle of light depending on where is is clipped, I wish there was a way to adjust the aim of the light.
I have only been able use the solar panel with cloudy skies or indirect sunlight at this time and charging that way I only got 1 hour of use with 8 hours of charging. When the weather gets warmer I hope to try charging in direct sunlight and will update when I do.
