Well balanced, but make sure your kid does it on a carpet or rug covered floor and not a tile floor! Be careful around granite counter tops as well.Great value. This has kept our son busy for hours. He takes it everywhere he goes. It was harder to learn than he expected but is very smooth and good for tricks. I didn't think it came with any string so I ordered separately.
