They pop out easily. Size is perfect for my kids 2yrs.- 29yrs... (if you count the husband!) We make fruit/vegetable smoothies and freeze. (I sneak a bunch of carrots into the pineapples, spinach into an intense lime squeeze, broccoli into the blueberries, and red cabbage into the cherries, and always add lemon juice and agave/honey!) Slide out easily. I don't use the stand at all! I just fit the lid on snuggly and then place them standing somewhat upright in between my frozen goods. Since these are little servings of fruits and veggies, I let the kids eat them all of the time anytime, so I am ordering more bc we run out so quick! Stand works great also. i LOVE THE FACT THAT THIS SET INCLUDES A CLEANING BRUSH AND FUNNEL! Color is a little less green than on screen and is a lovely lime/mint/avacado instead of intense. Still very attractive and vivid. Have only had a couple of days, so I cannot attest to how long they will last.
