This product has many uses! While I initially bought to organize my phone cords, I love the ability to also hold pencils near my calendar. The grip on the back is sticky foam and is a one time use. I did not directly apply it to my door as I feared the foam tape leaving a residue. I did stick it to my desk to keep my charger cord straight and free of other cords. I like that it comes in 3 colors to blend in to decor or try to hid it.
