When I came across this necklace, just by looking at the picture, I knew that this was one of those necklaces and I would love to have it. I am SO glad that I purchased this necklace. It looks just like it does in the picture. The beads are all made of a soft silicone, great for babies to chew on. The string that holds it all together is a really nice satin ribbon material, and each of the beads is knotted into place to prevent it from falling apart. The clasp on the necklace is one of those two piece plastic clasps, so that if your little one tugs on your necklace, it'll break away with ease. I wore this necklace to work yesterday (I work in a high school), and my students couldn't stop complimenting me on the necklace. They were even more amazed when I showed them how the flat beads bend because they're made of silicone. They couldn't get over how cool that was! My son was even more impressed. I received another necklace similar to this one at my baby shower, but my son hasn't really taken a liking to chewing on that necklace. This one, however, he immediately took to. I think it's because the beads on this one are a little bit softer. The packaging that this comes in is very nice as well, suitable for a gift. I will be buying more of these for the friends I have that are currently expecting. Such a great gift! Although I received this product at a discount, these words are entirely honest and my own. Support growing businesses like this one...they really are a fabulous company!
