I don't even know where to start with this one. We love it. My 4 year old daughter will not take it off. It was all I could do to get the wet fin off of her to put her in the car seat. She wants to wear it everywhere and though it is cute, I do not think the shell top is appropriate for everywhere.

I ordered the 4-5T. My daughter is almost 5 and weighs 38 pounds. She is almost 43 inches tall. I typically select larger sizes to grow in to but I was concerned that the tail would be too long if I sized up. I was right. This one is the perfect fit for her. The long edges of the tail hit the ground and cover her feet but the center where it is open is above the floor so she can walk easily.

The material is thin, which turned out to be good because thicker material would make for an even heavier wet fin for her to wear around. You can see in one of the photos where I held it up to a lamp and the spaces between the scales are see through. This is not an issue at all when she is wearing it. When it is on her it looks solid. I didn't even notice this until I finally got her to take it off and hung it to dry. The top closes with three ties making the size pretty customizable. I tied them once when she first put it on and they all stayed tied through her playing in water and out of the water. I was concerned that this would be an issue but all 3 stayed in place very well.

This works well as a swimsuit or for dress up play as a costume. I am glad we selected this one since there are so many to choose from and this one fits perfectly. When she is playing outside the water running around I was able to roll the waistband of the fin about 10 times and she was then able to run in it very well, not that I would encourage running in this but that's just what they do
