This set has been a blast to play with. There is a couple of tips that are similar but there is definite differences between them. I love them all. I have no set favourite. I had no clue what some of them did but I had fun testing them. As this set has many shapes, I recommend playing with them all until you find what you like best. The ones with just dots in the middle or stars make stamens. There are roses and tulips. And a couple of other flower shapes. I have found these work best with a stiff butter cream. I made a icing from butter 250 grams and 500g icing/confectioners sugar. I found it worked really well. I made 4 bowls of icing and added my colours and mixed them. I then used the bags I had in my kitchen drawers and cut the end off so I could put the tip in the bag. I then used a tall cup to hold my bag up while I filled them with frosting. Once all my colours were in their bags, I got my mini loaves ready to ice. I found that you need to use firm pressure on the icing and squeeze it hard and pull up fast. It takes a few goes to get it right but once you do, it is easyish. I tried with many tips and colours figuring it all out. I am not a pro by any means but I had fun and my cakes look fun and so much more exciting than boring flat frosting. I received this item at a discounted rate in return for an honest and unbiased review
