This is probably more of a winter color for me, and a spring dress in style due to the lack of sleeves. (Also, the white lace detail at the collar really says "spring" to me.)

I am normally a Large or XL in US dresses (just went and tried a bunch on a few weeks ago so I am sure about this). My suggestion is to order what you normally take. The X-large fit very roomy. The fabric composition (cotton/spandex) was such that the dress was pretty flattering. The drape was much nicer than polyester! This didn’t retain a lot of folds from shipping.

You can wear this without petticoats if you want; it goes down to just below my knees (I'm 5'10"). But there is definitely room for petticoats if that is something you are into.

The zipper goes a long way down the back so this is easy to get into and out of (no getting stuck on the shoulders or hips). You may need to have someone help zip you all the way up in back, but the zipper operates well and does not get stuck.

This was well-made. I liked the feel of the fabric (through the cotton made it breathable) and I thought the stitching was nice and even (I noticed a total of one loose thread, which is not bad at all). The collar seemed nice and there were four buttons coming down from the collar for detail (just decoration, not functional) -- those were all securely attached.

I think I am going to get a little white shrug to go with this and make it a spring work dress. But with petticoats, heels, etc., you could also make it work for a theme party.
