It's a piece of cloth approximately 3 inches long with a button on one end and a slit in material for button on your pants, the distance between buttons approximately 2 inches center of button to center of button. This is not stretchable. So glad I bought these! I had a baby and am back down to my pre-pregnancy weight, but some of my favorite jeans just don't fit as well as they used to. This little contraption gives just enough room to make them comfy again. I've tried them on several different brands of jeans and only had difficulty with one button being way too big to fit in the pre cut hole. After some work I was able to get it through.
Only drawback is I only use this when I am wearing a shirt long enough to cover my waistline. It is noticeable even if the color is matched fairly well. I received this product for review purposes.
