Water simply smells and tastes better when it's stored in glass rather than plastic, regardless of any health issues. Glass bottles are also better for our planet because they aren't made from petroleum, are reusable indefinitely, and then are easily recycled. They are easier to clean, don't absorb stains, and can even go in the dishwasher.

These beverage bottles are made of molded glass and have a substantial feel in the hand. The mouth of the bottle is wide and easy to drink from. The base has a textured rim so it won't slip.

Each bottle holds about 18 oz., so they are the perfect size for those little packets of powdered drink mix. This is also the right size to use as a bedside water carafe—and no drinking glass is needed.

The wide cap is easy to grip and open even with arthritic fingers. It is also designed so that it won't crack from being over-tightened and the silicone gasket doesn't leak at all, so there are no worries about carrying these bottles in a bag.

These bottles are not only a very nice way to carry water or other beverages, having two is convenient so that I can prepare one to take with me and one for later at the same time
