Wow! Why didn't I purchase this brush years ago?? It would have saved me countless days of my daughter whining in the morning when I had to brush her hair. My daughter is 8 and has long medium/thick hair, it's also wavy. She sleeps crazy so when she wakes up her hair is a mess! I dreaded brushing it especially if we were in a hurry. But now with this brush it takes half the time to brush! And most importantly, no whining or complaining that I'm pulling her hair. Sometimes there were even tears. She is very tender headed and cries when we brush out tangles. She has been loving this brush, and has used it on wet and dry hair. She has not experienced the discomfort that she does with other brushes. We liked it so much we bought another to keep downstairs to use before she heads out to school. I have not had it for long so I cannot speak to how long it holds up, but I am hoping it will be sturdy and last awhile.
