This really handsome set of mills ships in a nice little box and with a small mat for them. They have a nice, modern look and seem very sturdy and well made and are perfect for grinding peppercorns and our himalayan salts. They're easy to use, easy to refill (the two halfs completely screw off and apart from each other).
They worked well and without any issues. According to the product page, the grinder is made of ceramic, which is supposedly more efficient and superior to a stainless steel grinder (I've also noticed that a number of other more premium specialty herb grinders always only seem to be ceramic). Honestly, I'm not really sure what this means for me and I can't tell a huge difference, though I did notice that the salt seems to cake less at the mouth of this grinder, compared to others that I've used.
I'm happy with this set overall and it makes a really nice upgrade to your kitchen or dining room, or a really classy looking housewarming gift.
