walk past, even during the daytime in direct sunlight. Because of this downfall, the most practical place to use this is in a closet or low traffic area. Otherwise, battery power will be wasted when additional light is not needed.
I find that the sensor will detect movement within about 8 feet (depending on the angle).
This would make a decent light to mount on the ceiling of a closet. Open the door and you have instant light. Close the door and the light will go off 30 seconds later.
