This particular model (3qt) is a somewhat smaller size that makes it better for 1 or 2 people I think.. or as a nice sized salad spinner to use during cooking. I often need to rinse and dry basil, parsley, cilantro and other herbs and lettuces. This smaller size is perfect for that.



The basket/colander and bowl are top-shelf dishwasher safe.



This has a fold-away handle that makes this pretty easy to store. The fold-away handle part of the spinner is the only thing that makes me a little nervous. It just doesn't feel too strong to me. But using care should reduce the risk of it breaking. The spinner is very quiet when in use and I like the small button on the top that acts as a brake and slows the spinning basket to a stop.



This has a nice appearance and works really well. It's handy to be able to rinse your salad while its in the basket/colander then pop the basket/colander into the container, put the top on and spin it dry. After that, just transfer the salad into the container and serve it from that, Very convenient.
