Finally....a way to cut-up watermelon, without the fear I could lose a finger, using slippery knives!
If you're a lover of watermelon, or any other type melon, and loathe the chore of cleaning the fruit out of rind, then this is the tool, you didn't know you were missing!
Some seasons, I forgo buying a watermelon, just because I refuse to pay the cost/taste of pre-sliced fruit, and not ready to take on the chore of tackling that huge watermelon by myself.
I won't be the nay-thinker this season, because with this tool it takes less than 5 minutes to cut it up, start to finish! Simply, cut the watermelon in half, length wise, and start using the tool. It penetrates the fruit ever so easy, and I know that I am getting the bulk of the melon out, without all bitter rind.
For a pool-side birthday party this weekend, I actually used it to cut both ways, to make a checkered pattern. Then flip the tool over and start pulling the pieces out using the "tongs". Couldn't be easier and so happy with this product. Also I had toothpicks out, for those that wanted to pick a section up, and pop in their mouth. Worked-out great!
