I recently bought new bamboo cutting boards and was looking for a way to protect them. I have gone thru so many over the years and my friend told me about using cutting board oil. I was initially skeptical because I did not want my food to taste like mineral oil and was afraid to try it. Well when I received an opportunity to try this kit I was excited to give it a try. This is a very light scent. All you need to do is clean your boards with the cleaner generously and let sit overnight. The only downside is that I do have to use a little bit of oil every time I wash my cutting board, but seeing as how expensive buying new cutting boards every so often could be I see this oil as more of an investment! Not only that but a little goes a long way and the bottle is a whopping 12 ounces! So I'm pretty sure it will last quite a while before having to buy more
This is a fabulous product , I have now used it to clean all my wooden and bamboo kitchen tools. It is simple to use just place a drop and scrub in no need to rinse .I have a couple old wooden cutting boards I was going to toss, but I was able to rejuvenate them with this product .I also used it on my wooden spoons. I have some that are my favorites with this they can stay that way.You won't be disappointed with this product , I sure am not I truly love it.
