The fivefourten yoga mat strap is a cone piece item, no assembly required. It is lightweight but a thick heavy duty good quality material strap. I love yoga and own a few mats but not all of them have straps. I guess it's not really necessary to have a strap for each mat though it is nice to have. That's why I chose to purchase the Best Yoga Strap. My other strap is a good one but different in that the part of the strap that wraps around my mat, at the two ends, are stretchable so they will fit any size mat. Now the Best Yoga Strap will fit any size mat also because it is adjustable by a metal piece. It is real easy to apply, by just slipping each side onto the ends of my mat and pull against the metal piece to tighten. I really like this strap because it fits all my mats regardless of their size, it's easy to attach and it's a durable thick material. I highly recommend this strap.
