In all honesty, I absolutely love these headbands... So much I ordered two more for my daughter... there are three ways that are the most practical and useful for me and the material has made it really easy to do so. That is: as a doubled headband that requires no bobby pins to stay in place, a scarf that can cover the mouth in the chilly weather (also helps when biking at high speeds), and as a full on bandana when you want to cover your whole head.
Where it is attached (since it is one big loop) there is a line of stitching but it is very sturdy and doesn't seem like it will unravel anytime soon.

Overall, I think this is a good item for those that need something breathable and that will also provide a bit of protection from cold winds yet still be workable in sunny, hot weather since it wicks away sweat instead of pooling it like cotton headbands do.
